Coaching & Scoring Resources
HPJCC is driven by our volunteers. We rely on your support to give our cricketers the best cricketing experience possible. This means we need the support of our parents (and grandparents too!) to coach and manage teams, as well as umpiring and scoring.

Our coaches and managers require Blue Cards, which is organised through the Club free-of-charge at our Coach & Manager Information Night.
​
We also encourage our coaches to further develop their coaching skills by attending Queensland Cricket coaching courses. These are run throughout the year - please let us know if you are interested in attending a course
PlayHQ E-Scoring
Electronic scoring has moved from MyCricket to a new system called PlayHQ. This new system is web-based (there is no app at this time), which means you can score on a laptop, tablet, or even phone if you have good eyesight!

Each game has 2 scorers (1 from each team). We strongly recommend that 1 scorer uses the paper scorebook in case of Internet issues, or glitches with PlayHQ.
